Ruslana Korshunova's NYC apartment

I'm having a hard time how she could leap from the 9th floor balcony and land on the middle of the street as what reports are saying.

Why?

I took a picture of her building and where she was located the building was contruct further in. If she had slipped accidentally or jumped or even leaped she cannot have landed in the middle of the street! At least from my point of view. Maybe she was so light and flew like a bird to have landed where she did? Only Ruslana knows, I guess.
